The US needs NLD to promote the democracy liberal and maintain her hegemony to the world, while China also needs NLD to complete the project called China - Myanmar Economic Corridor for cargo route efficiency. So now the 2 biggest powers of the world have the same interest in Myanmar. So the condition in that country could be a 'bargaining chip' for China to US.
