  1. Yes - I scanned in at the IBIS Brisbane Airport last night (the restaurant). If COVID was going to come into the country, there is a higher chance that I'm in the right place to catch the thing off someone. So scanning my QR code means that I can be contacted quickly if this was the case. What is wrong with that? After all, I have my iPhone on me and was logging into all sorts of apps while I was staying at the IBIS - I'm not gullible to think that I'm not being "located" by some of those apps. We need to stop being so damn paranoid and accept that this is an okay thing to do for now. There are far more sinister technologies out there looking at you as you move around, maybe focus on them instead?
