  2. I lived and studied in India for two years. Being a Scot I was obviously not an Indian having white skin. However, I was proud of my achievements as a Brit in India from 1968 to1971. It was the Brit establishment in the form of the British Council and that class that populates those institutions that was not at all supportive. It was the Indians and strangely enough the Max Muller Institute that did!! The UK establishment hates its own kind.
