  1. This is like a fight between two evils and neither is better than the other. Facebook would happily comply with the same requirements if it was NSA making it in US, Hell they probably do it under the table in US. Remember the Cambridge Analitica scandal? That goes to show how little Facebook cares about user data, So it seems pretty astounding that Facebook suddenly cares about privacy. Facebook has always been abusing user data but when someone wants to have a part in it, They become defensive, Almost like saying you can't have a piece of my cake! On the other hand we have the Indian Government, They say the traceability will be used to track down only criminals, But you'd be absolutely dumb if you think that they won't abuse this law to track down individuals or entities that criticise the government and harras them, So that in itself is violating freedom of speech on the internet. Congrats India you're slowly becoming the next China.
