  2. Trumpet vine will overtake and kill everything in its path. Why anyone planted that in such a small area is a mystery to me.

  3. That “shrub” is Trumpet vine, which is one of the most invasive plants ever! Tear it out by the roots and keep after it because it’ll rapidly overtake whatever you plant there!!!

  4.  @joannem3568  there are no hummingbirds in Amsterdam, and it’s not possible to control Trumpet vine, as its roots are as invasive as its vines.
