Why not? That is the last war for territorial expansion. Defeating Axis are necessary to start new era where war for territorial gain are heavily punished by the rest of the planet.

@jussim.konttinen4981 Yea thanks to America. And dont forget America choose to side with the slavs in that war. Also nobody thinking about living in axis countries due racism, food/fuel shortages and hyper inflation at that time.

@jussim.konttinen4981 Just give sometime until Jamal, Ahmed, Tyrone sure names became majority in Germany and the world will forget their evildoing in WW II. Stalin want Sphere of influence instead living space so everyone ok with that. Most of their time what they did are just "regime change" to pro Russian just like American did in Cold War. Handing over their government local communist party which already well established. Unlike Germany which turn their conquered territory into "reich commisariat". They only get Karelia and Koeningsgrad as reparation.

Stalingrad is one of the key city on the area. STZ produce tanks, Barikaddy produce MG, grain sillo and fuel depot as well as ferry point to move large number of personnel over 1km wide river.. Also Stalin for some reason switch his stance from no evacuation to evacuation because of that.
