EDIT: Based on fellow commenters weighing in, it seems the title may be implying it's only a "China's-first" and not a "global-first" as the title appears to claim. <original comment below> Small correction: World's THIRD Fully Autonomous Drone Ship America has had some in testing for the last few years, the USS Sea Hunter (launched 2016), having made solo trips from California, US to Hawaii, US with no crew onboard. 😁 Then last year they took delivery of the sister ship, the USS Sea Hawk. And yes, they deploy drones, too. Sea Hunter is an Anti-Submarine vessel and it I remember correctly, has at least two ships it can deploy to track subs. (I think they're autonomous subs, but don't quote me on that as they could be surface boats) Sorry! 😁 Gotta research before making video titles that claim world-firsts!

EDIT: "I think the [use] of 'World' here means [in their] society" Ah, I see what you mean, I misread your comment initially. I think you may indeed be correct there... 🤔 Still, a misleading way to word the title... lol Because, while yes, this is indeed China's OWN "first", there are not multiple counties of China around the world to justify that usage. heh

So, I was going to make a joke, since I had known about this one for awhile... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skynet_(satellite) ... but then as I was getting that link, Google turned up this one that I hadn't known about: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SKYNET_(surveillance_program) So now my joke about us all having dodged a bullet just due to Skynet having only been a harmless telecom system, becomes a very real dodge since the US system could've -- or I suppose actually did -- controlled weapon-wielding drones...... 😪😂 Yikers...😅 lol
