@gargamelgargamel6431 Like Russia's promise to Ukraine, in the Budapest Memorandum? To never allow anyone to threaten the sovereignty of their borders. To never allow any of the implements of war they made/make to be used against Ukraine. To never meddle in Ukraine's politics. (yes the US and UK dropped the ball there, too, and I'm upset at that fact; however, neither of our countries invaded them TWICE, and stole their land TWICE, either...)

@zachnar0125 Yea people have lost sight of things... Admittedly, _shamefully_, I didn't know anything about Ukr before the invasion*, nevermind said memorandum... So when I did learn of it, damn that made me mad. (* a fact over which I've apologized to folk like Starsky, Denys Davydov, and any Ukrainian I've come across in comments; Starsky in particular has shown me that the sense of humor I have and which defines me as a person, is exactly the same as theirs... we are kindred spirits) SPECIFICALLY that the US and UK signed it and we've done nothing up until now, because you know damn well the ONLY reason we signed it was as an assurance to Ukr-then that we wouldn't let Ruz renege on the agreement... And what did they do? Reneged. And what did we do? Jack shit. 😞 Made me ashamed of my country. The words of that agreement, yes, only state that in any such situation where their sovereignty was threatened that we would only go to the UN on their behalf... However, the basis of that agreement, giving up their ☢️ arsenal and the very thing that would've protected them from such a situation, to ME that document was saying _"we'll protect you"_! And we didn't... ESPECIALLY when it was that very country who we were signing it with and simply to keep them in check... was the one doing the invading. 😮‍💨 Anyways, sorry for ranting 🥴 I'm sure the automoderation system will smite this comment down anyways (hence not using the full country name; I've found that for me, it's a trigger), but sometimes I get lucky, so maybe this is one of them! 🤞😅 🍻 edit: spelling error; also, the automoderation system have me a pass!!

re: Drones """crashing""" in Romania... Does anyone else feel like this is like dogs asserting dominance by humping another; harmless but delivers a message? Or just me? EDIT: In hindsight, I don't actually mean this is harmless, since calamity CAN occur from it; however, I mean that is not Ruz actively being aggressive. In other words, these actions are implying: "You can either let this happen and I'm dominant, or fight back and then we'll see who is stronger."
