  2. ***** Mao and Pol Pot were neither democratic or western. As for the NHS, it is true that people have likely died due to its failings, but it has on the whole vastly benefited the UK. It has helped to contribute to an increase of over a decade in average life expectancy since its creation. Compare Health Care here to America, where people die because of their inability to afford health care treatment due to their economic circumstances. The American health system is also ranked well below Britain and other western countries that have public health care systems, and on top of all that the federal government spends more on it than in France and the UK. So overall, Socialist health care has likely saved far more people than it has killed, it is the more market centered approaches which kill more people.  And being pro immigration is more of a liberal than a socialist thing, but that aside, what evidence do you have to say that diseased illegal immigrants end up killing indigenous children? That just sounds like propaganda to fit your world view. And research from online dating sites (which have millions of samples to go off of) suggest that there is little difference in the number of sexual partners that homosexuals have over heterosexuals. There may be differences between that figure and the true number, but I find it hard to believe that there is so big a gap as 6 and 1,000. Gay people arent necessarily any more driven by sex than anyone else. And how can you possibly think that a gay lifestyle is condoned by society these days? If anything it is condemned. After all, 'gay' is still a widely used derogatory term amongst many teenagers especially.

  4. ***** As I said, neither system, socialism or capitalism, is completely perfect, and there are going to be instances of failure on the part of both. Equally, there are the examples of things like the private sector's involvement in the UK welfare system, where the private sector carries is responsible for work capability assessment for the sick. There are examples of people dying within days have being found fit for work. The private sector can be brutal too.   Socialism on the whole comes out better and more humane. Hence why the USA is outstripped in terms of both standards of healthcare, average life expectancy, and standards of living in general by those countries that would be considered 'socialist' in America.  And why do you think that there is some kind of socialist education conspiracy? I can tell you as a socialist myself I want people to know more, not less about history, particularly in America where a lot of the history, particularly surrounding the establishment of the country itself, is more propaganda than history. And isnt the Committee on Un-American Activities known for engaging in completely paranoid witch hunts?  But if you are so anti socialist, let me ask you this, do you support public education, medicare, or social security? Because those are all examples of socialism. All modern western countries have some mix of public and private ownership, so anyone who supports those is themselves a socialist. I wish people would recognize the nuance, rather than seeing it as bad socialists vs good capitalists.
