Birth control, condoms, day after pills, and other measures... exist A baby in the womb is it's own unique genetic being that exists because of 2 other's actions and decisions. It is it's own being that requires care to fulfill its potential. It is NOT "Your Body". Your body, your choice argument at its logical conclusion. Honestly, the 16 week (1st trimester) mark was seen as acceptable but distasteful by many, but some people had to keep pushing until "post-birth abortion" [infanticide] was a thing... Like a pendulum, the farther you push it one direction, the farther it will swing the other way when resistance overcomes inertia.
