  3. The ONLY thing the average russian wants is a return to the prosperity that oil has brought them. In the USSR they lived like third-world savages. But they had the illusion that they had a first-world military. Now they've gotten used to products from the West. And the rubles needed to buy those products. Well Ivan, those times are over.
