  1. I wanted to like and buy the Terrain but the ability to see out the rear window and rear quarter panel window is .. simply ... pathetic. Outback for me

  2. why were you not impressed? On the Terrain, I look over my right shoulder and the view out the back including right passenger back seat bulkhead is awful. Terrain is not alone in poor visibility but it's a strength of the outback. No sure why the Terrain / Equinox is so bad but I assume it's needed to support the panoramic window / rollover.

  3. Thank you Ivan. If not the Outback, perhaps I'll buy yet another mini-van. I can stretch out my legs and knees on a long trip and I can see through my blind spot (I weakness of mine perhaps). I do wonder: do American's really want 300-400 hp and to accelerate from 0-60 in 5 seconds? I'd rather have the former than the latter. Also, I DO like the 360 visibility systems you mentioned. I've rented cars with them and think the technology is pretty cool.
