  1. I voted Remain (somewhat reluctantly) and when Leave won I was pretty shell-shocked. But once I got over the shock I realise what a momentous result it really was. We'd been told that leaving was racist, fascist, a little Englander mentality going against the Brave New World of globalised capitalism and open borders, it was going to crush us economically, that it would be apocalyptic. The people voted out anyway. Freedom and self determination is always worth it. But I said then "they won't let it happen". Because to Remain is the choice of the elites, the bankers, the oligarchs and the metropolitan chattering classes, they are so self righteous in their 'wokeness' they can't conceive that ordinary people just want to be British and go their own way. They will not let it happen. Just like they didn't let it happen in France, Holland and Ireland. How dare we mess with their plans for one European government with massive power concentrated in even fewer hands!
