  1. Large companies want cheap labor. I have been in high tech since 1985. I have seen outsourcing first hand in my fortune 20 company to like of Accenture. Our employees have had to train replacements from India and after one year our employees were laid off. It is not a labor shortage. Meta(Facebook), Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforces laid off over 70,000 high tech employees in 2023 and more this year. It is just a play to get cheap labor that they can keep for long time at those lower rates.
