  4. When I read 1984 I found out "it's literally the ussr". You remember the neighbor of the main character being arrested because his daughter told on him? It's the pavlik morozov's story. You remember how they called the department of war the department of peace etc? It's how the ussr called the war against finland "the liberation of finland", the occupation of baltic states "the liberation of baltic states" etc. You remember how the main character was tortured? This is how the ussr tortured its prisoners, just take bukharin and zinoviev as an example. You remember how the girlfriend of the main character had access to better food because she was an upper class in the ruling system? It's the soviet "special destrebution". You remember the "new language"? This is the soviet new language, how they started to call the coup the revolution, after a decade(and this is also described at the moment when they find out the party changes the description of the events in the past), or how they started to give everything new names "robbery - expropriation", "terrorist - combatant", "traitor - provoker" etc. Or sure you remember the place where the book says there were 2 leaders of the revolution but one of them became hated and that he looked like a sheep. Obvious reference on trotsky. And yet, there are plenty of people who didn't read the book and deny the obvious fact, it's just literally written about the ussr and comunism. The system in the book is literally called "english socialism", pff, zombies will deny the book is about comunism anyway.
