  1. I'm not agree with the statement that Poland's solidarity wasn't enough to free Poland from commie's occupation but the USA's help freed Poland. HALF of Poland POPULATION was in solidarity despite it was a forbidden party. Every Pole hated commie's occupation, two times from 50s to 80s there was martial law in Poland, started by the ussr to keep Poland as commie's puppet. Poles wanted to be free, they made several attempts and eventually they reached what they wanted. This is their victory. Though it became more easy due to the economical crisis in the ussr, the crisis that was the reason of the ussr's fall. It helped Poland to get free, the USA's help isn't even close. If there was any help at all.

  3. Engineer wasn't a prestige profession in the ussr. On the contrary smart people were laughed when it was comunism. The regime praised workers, those who work mechanically without thinking. The more intelligence your profession needs the more despised it was in the ussr. Scientists, artists, engineers were despised by the people because of the regime's propaganda. Being a scientist wouldn't bring you any prestige and it also wouldn't bring you any money, any brainless worker would earn the same and + he would be praised. 20:13 it is about the engineers' situation when it was comunism.
