@howitstartsmm there is a quota for refugees not for asylum. There is a daily quota that check points will turn back asylum request for the day. That results in legal asylum request between check points. Want to try again? And why are you spreading Russian propaganda?

@howitstartsmm in this clip the Right seem all of a sudden seems concerned for the welfare of immigrants at the border being used by cartels. Where was that concern under Trump when he created a refugee crisis at the border starting in 2019? Where is the concern for supporting a remain in Mexico policy that violates federal law and international treaty? A policy that forced immigrants to remain on the side of the border in easy access to cartels and traffickers. Causing more to want to immigrate between check points as it's an easier way to be granted asylum. And it's still legal.

@howitstartsmm The Right confuse immigration with illegal entry. Obama was following federal law in the detainment of children. Trump was violating federal law in his separation policy to deter legal asylum seekers from migrating. This caused an overcrowding at detainment centers and an inability to meet deadlines for removal of children from those detainment facilities. Trumps created policies that violated US immigration law and international treaty. His remain in Mexico policy that is in violation of US code 1158, forces legal asylum seekers to wait in Mexico at easy access to cartels and traffickers, increasing rapes deaths drugs and financing the cartels. That's just using critical thinking in stead of being an idiot an assuming it's Biden's fault. Asylum seekers are not required to use a port of entry and those who do are met with daily quotas and are forced to remain in Mexico, where they have few resources available to legal council and contact. We have asylum laws the Right needs to learn them and follow them. We don't ignore laws to fit a Right wing agenda. And no an open border policy is Right wing for not having a clue what our immigration laws are and a willingness to ignore them. Try again when you have a clue what you are talking about.

@howitstartsmm Trump did not carry out that oath. We had a 17 year decline in southern border crossing to the lowest point in 50 years prior to Trump and his policies. Within two years Trump doubled the number of people crossing to 977,000 in 2019, a 20 year high after his policies. It only went down for the first nine months of 2020 due to covid, before going back to a 20 year monthly high in October of 2020. It has remained their ever since, with Trumps remain in Mexico still in place. You know nothing of what the law is or what is going on.

@howitstartsmm Guessing and making sh it up as you go doesn't make you informed. Remain in Mexico was never stopped it's still in place and it's being used. It is going before the SCOTUS next month to have it stopped as it's in violation of the law. We've had a bad year due to it being in place as the surge began before Biden. Yes with Remain in Mexico in place more children are being sent unaccompanied as they are put into asylum process. Again caused by remain in Mexico. Title 42 has remained in place and is going away this month, yet immigration is still high, and was at a 20 year high under Trump when he had title 42 in place. You are confused as you have no clue what our laws are or what is going on at the border. I'm the only one of the two of us that knows how to use the data, because you are clueless on immigrating law and what's going on at the border.
