  3.  @logooniguy1426  How does increased population growth impact the US negitively. Depends on how quickly the change happens. But to stay on topic and be clear, just because immigrants come into the country or because they have an asylum claim doesn’t mean they get to stay. We just have an overwhelming task of processing a large number and that processing was bottlenecked for three years. And congress has not appropriated funds to process them under our laws, so many in congress would rather undermine those laws or shift blame. And in particular how does said increased population on the southern border impact texas and the surrounding states. It impacts everyone, Texas is not the end of the journey. I would suggest that those states adhere to federal law on immigration. And press congress to find solutions instead of shifting blame and looking for ways to ignore the laws they wrote. That seems to be the better alternative. I know that it can effect the economy and such, but I have a hard time finding the numbers because I don't know how to ask google lol. Every time I find stats it always ends up being one of those paywalled sites. I find that to be a problem myself. It’s difficult to find source information that should be available without being compromised by ideology. And there are always missing Q&A’s from the data. I’m constantly looking for information to challenge what I’ve found that isn’t crystal clear and have edited and updated my initial statement in this thread to correct any new information.
