@tedc7714 Most who get to that point in their asylum case will show up obviously so they can have that legal status. And if they have access to legal representation the rate is even higher. the Right denying them access is not helping in that effort. They typically would have a sponsor or family here to help in support. They also are able to work and earn money, and yes there are federal subsidies that they can qualify for. If they do not show or are not granted asylum the y are deported.
