It is true that China had starvation in its history happen in the past, not just under CPC, but also under the KMT, and before. So blaming starvation on the current CPC is a big stretch from the truth! The most important is that the current CPC took lessons from the past and made a tremendous improvement. If you think today's CPC is the same as the past CPC, you must be ignorant. Talking about security spending, I can assure you that no country in the world can compare that to the US. The US police possess the military type of police equipment. It is often seen on TV that whenever there was a gun shooting, the police always dispatch armed vehicles that are comparable to war tanks. If you think China would spend more on security than the US, you must be ignorant. BTW, I also notice that in the US report, gun violence caused death and homeless-related death are not included in the reasons for shorter life expectancy in the US, which is a real shame.
