In the 1950s Polio infected around 35,000 Americans a year and Americans & Canadians could not wait to get vaccinated. Now, in 2 years 922,000 Americans have died from COVID and we are having a debate about vaccines and “freedoms” with Morons.

Parents were frightened to let their children go outside, especially in the summer when the virus seemed to peak. Travel and commerce between affected cities were sometimes restricted. Public health officials imposed quarantines (used to separate and restrict the movement of well people who may have been exposed to a contagious disease to see if they become ill) on homes and towns where polio cases were diagnosed. @mp40submachinegun81 For every person infected between 3 - 4 people become infected. Many non vaccinated persons are currently clogging up our Hospital ICUs preventing other patients in critical need of an ICU from being cared for - AKA Dying. These unvaccinated preventable serious infections are overloading hospitals and costing the taxpayer billions. So my point is that your personal choice imposes an unacceptable burden on those around you and society. In a Democracy your freedom ends when your actions put others at physical & financial risk - AKA Responsibility.
