  1.  @islandbee  He was not found “not guilty” he just wasn’t removed from office even though the vote was 57 - 43 to convict. You need to know how the Senate works.

  3.  @Hello_11345  Thank you Captain obvious, but you should take your own advice. The Constitution gives the House of Representatives the sole power to impeach an official, and it makes the Senate the sole court for impeachment trials. Therefore, Trump was impeached Twice but the Senate never imposed fines, removal from office, jail times etc. The Senate does not serve as a traditional jury and is under no obligation to uphold the law other than an oath and a moral obligation. Thus the 57 to 43 ruling that failed to get 60 votes to convict.
