  2. The Chinese definition of volunteer military is very different from the westerners/American’s. They weren’t non-trained military soldiers or officers, they were real military folks with decades of fighting experiences and some even from the Chinese Red Army era mixed with some new recruits led by their greatest Marshal Peng DH who was one of the few praised by Chiang KeiShek as well! So, westerns were fooled! But, as most of Mao’s best Marshals, Peng was in prison for speaking up his opinion for the people and tortured to death shortly after the Korean War ended, and he was the first who headed that way. He went through the Long March with Mao, too. SAD?! So, anyone who thinks s/he can somehow become a favorite of the CCP, think again!
