No matter how long you train you will always reach a genetic limit, after around year 4-6 the gains after that are very minimal. Not to mention that getting too big just requires more maintenance, some people dont want that big bulky look. I personally don't think age is a huge deal when it comes to crafting a decent physique, the guy from fit and 50 youtube channel started at age 45 and 10 years later he has a fantastic lean physique, looks better than most 21 yr olds. You are right about time issues though, but if you have a lot of time on your hands then working out correctly past age 28 for a good solid number of years won't be that difficult, 30 Is still very young, age only matters when you get very old like 50-60 especially if you starting fresh, that's when it becomes a problem and you probably won't get those 20's- 30's gains like you could have.
