The title is nothing but clickbait, meant to appeal to politically charged sentiments like yours. Cos apparently just talking about how Korea modernized isn't interesting enough to draw in the ideological crowd who just want to dunk on their chosen enemy.

@eduwino151 China's coastal region is larger than SK and comparably developed. The country as a whole has its average lowered by its interior, an issue a small nation like SK doesn't have to anywhere the same extent. This is similar to how often it has to be pointed out how inappropriate it is to compare Singapore with most other nations.

@IQstrategy The Plaza Accords show just how independent they are. Well Japan anyway, SK never threatened to rival the us and so never had to agree to cut itself down to size like they did.

Bruh they were literally the source of much of Korean and Japanese culture, including even their language. Meanwhile the only bits of the ME there is in their sparsely populated far west, and the only bit of Indian influence came over 2k years ago with the arrival of Buddhism. They have very little in common with either region. SE Asia meanwhile borrowed half its culture from them (with the other half coming from India).

@zkhjig12 Bruh the gdp per capita of Shanghai is 27k, compared to 33k for SK. That's a lot more than half, and they're still growing faster.

@saulghim2661 I don't think they were targeting Koreans. This channels' audience is mostly western, and hence I believe the clickbait was made mostly for them.
