  1. This video misrepresents US fossil fuels. It is NOT CHEAP. It never has been. So the claim that poor countries are affected by US curbs is complete nonsense. They mostly don't even have the facilities to accept US LNG, let alone to pay for it. Not to mention they use gas a lot less too, compared to richer nations. There's a reason first world Europe is the main target of these gas exports, not poor nations.

  3. Nuclear isn't taboo, and France gets literally around 80% of its energy from nuclear. Nuclear isn't failing cos it's taboo, it's failing cos it's not profitable. It costs a lot, takes a long time to recoup your investment and is a bureaucratic nightmare. So private investors aren't interested. Govts. don't want to foot the bill fully themselves either, so they too gravitate to renewables cos its both cheaper and easier to find private partners to share the burden with. Nuclear is dying cos the business case is not there.
