  1. "Working 32 hours per week, we'll still produce more than we did 30 years ago" - employers don't compare work results with what was achieved 30 years ago, or even 10 years ago. They compare it with last year, if you're lucky. If not they might compare with last month, or even last week. No one cares if people are more productive than they were 30 years ago. You can't compete with just a bit more productivity than you had 30 years ago.

  2.  @ahah1785  It can happen the same way labour rights have always advanced - through agitation. Just need to get your nation to stop suppressing unions, or letting companies suppress them, and it'll happen on its own in time.

  4. Define 'dramatically' here. How many more kids did people have on average? And no, not SAYING they might have kids on a survey, but actually having kids.
