@MrTryAnotherOne Lol, the USA meddles all over the world cos of the Barbary Wars? I've heard plenty of justifications of American interventionism over the years, but that's a new one lmao!

@Omega Censorship being an effective tactic against extremism has no basis whatsoever either. And deportation is what you do when you've already failed to deal with the extremism i.e. it isn't a solution either.

@ragnarlothbruk8145 Europe as a whole isn't religious to begin with. Africa is both poor and has a large Christian presence, and as such you do see Christian terror groups (for instance, the LRA). And most of the Hindus in Europe are upper class immigrants from Asia and their families. They tend to be similar to other Europeans in that religion isn't a big part of their lives either. The biggest difference between the Muslims and Christians in Europe is the level of religiosity itself - most Christians (at least in western Europe) barely care about their faith, the Muslims aren't so faithless. That isn't about secular societies, but rather about how much religion matters to people.

@sipanaskar14 Sure you are lol. Let me guess? Yazidi. That would certainly explain your attitude.

@korsol "were the crusades terrorism? Was america spreading democracy in iraq terrorism?" - No and no. They were something worse - full-on war. Raynald of Châtillon was a terrorist. The Crusades were an invasion. So was the Iraq war.

@MrTryAnotherOne I know what the Barbary Wars are. Good luck arguing that they justify the US' global interventionism, right up to the present.

@MrTryAnotherOne Maybe you should stop trying to act all clever and actually explain your argument. Cos no one's impressed by you simply dropping a claim and expecting everyone to go along with it simply based on how cocky you are.

@Eduardo Ruiz Ah yes, ye olde 'Let (MY) justice be done, even should world perish' mentality. Classic!

The Quran says whatever the hell the people reading it want to believe it says. That's true of every other faith as well. God's word is whatever you believe it to be, and always will be. So yeah, if you want to believe the Quran supports Jihad, you'll find that it does.

@wineverything7529 Like I said, believers will see whatever they want in whichever text they believe in. I always find it amusing when they tell themselves they're fighting for god. They're just fighting for their ideals, god is just an excuse. Islam doesn't have any sanctity as far as I'm concerned. No faith does. And the prophet can go jump down a well for all I care.

@ragnarlothbruk8145 Not true. Christian, Hindu and Buddhist extremists all exist. And yes, they have killed people.
