  3. I'm a Gary Johnson supporter. But Trump would undoubtedly be the strongest candidate able to face off against the (likely) democratic nominee AKA Hillary. Trump's support among centrist unions could turn the lakes states red, and it's clear he has unusually strong independent support as well. Rubio meanwhile would utterly collapse if he had to debate someone like Hillary, who gets fed talking points from within the white house itself.
