It's extremely funny to me when Cruz, a sitting senator, attempts to distance himself from his colleagues, which he has worked with now for years. It's almost as funny that you mention Goldman Sachs, since Cruz' wife was a regional chair at this same organization for years. The RNC isn't attacking Cruz- because they control Cruz. It's as simple as that, and most people understand this fact. Thankfully, Cruz is about to begin sliding into irrelevance because he's incapable of competing outside of the evangelozionist heartland. After New York this will even become clear to Cruz' actual fans.
