What it needs is the job centre to actually help people into and back into work but the only thing they do is check that you have applied for every job on their internet site even though they are not qualified for the jobs and if you don't then you get sanctioned (your money is stopped). The job centre should be more about helping people find jobs and how to apply for them and give them confidence to try for jobs they are aftaid to try.
