The answer to filling the jobs is for 3xample in the NHS train Doctors and Nurses for free with a contract that says once they are qualified the have to stay with the NHS for 5 years or repay the fees for their training. They could make the job centres more aimed at helping people find work or get in to trsining rather that spending all their time sanctioning people because they haven't applied for enough jobs regardless of whether they are qualified for the jobs. Why aren't they more like an employment agency where they contact people when a job comes in, they hould even take temporary jobs and get people back into the habit of going to work at a pace they can cope with.

@garyh1572 the difference I am suggesting is that their training is free as long as they remain with the NHS for the 5 years. At present they have to pay for their training Keep up
