  2. A large proportion of British people can't afford to buy an electric car and what happens when the battery goes kaput and you can afford to replace it. Then you have to cost of having a charging point put outside your home if you live in a property where it is feasible to have on installed. If you have to use public ones it is very expensive and time consuming because you can go anywhere until your car is charged.
