Great video! Simple and straightforward, the kind that I wish existed when I started on my Linux journey.

Wow! Thank you for the shout out! Very kind of you! I am glad that Krita is working out for you, the program has come a long way and is definitely going to keep getting better. I am sorry that KDE didn't quite work out for you. Gnome is a solid DE and if it does the job for you then that is awesome.

Similar to yours but a couple of others. I really like Krita for image manipulation. For vector graphics I use Inkscape. Both are great at what they set out to do. I also use Thunderbird for email. Great video as always.

Great to see you uploading again man, it's been a while. Great tutorial on basic Arch install, I may have to conquer my fears and try it!

DorianDotSlash I am so happy to hear that! I have been telling people about how great Krita is as a Photoshop alternative. I think for most people it works really well. Great people working on it too. I really hope it works for your needs. All the best.

Interesting! Actually haven't really tried Debian. May have to try it out. Great vid as always. So does this mean you are back on KDE for your main production machine? Did the screen recording issue get resolved completely? That's awesome!

I love XFCE but I have a soft spot for KDE because it really is just so pretty to look at. Have been playing around in Neon on a Virtual Machine and I've been really impressed. May give it a whirl on hardware depending on how you report your experience with it. Great video as always.

Give Solus a try if you like the idea of a rolling release. I think Manjaro is a good choice too. Haven't had much experience with openSUSE. Good luck with whatever you try and I'm sure you will find a distro you really like.

I feel you with the heat. I am in the GTA and the AC is struggling. Once the computer and monitors are on the heat is on too. Great video as always.

I like this video. I may give Gnome another try. I haven't used it on a daily driver in a long time. This was a great tutorial on using Gnome.
