  1. "Why Japan's Porn Industry May Go Away Soon" I don't think Nobita-san understands "male nature". Majority of men want satisfaction fast & easy and porn gives that when it comes to sexuality. Not just that, it gives indirect access to a lot of females. Most men do not have access to a lot of females, this is only a minority in the population, it doesn't matter the country, there's men like that everywhere. Japan clearly has problems when it comes to dating and I would go as far as saying it's worse than in the West, though some may argue it's as bad for some different reasons. Porn just fills a gap and as long as the main problem of relationships and dating won't be fixed, this will not go away, it just won't. The demand is always there, always will be. I wonder if these laws were passed as an extreme reaction to the problem, passed with malicious intent or the people in power passed these laws purely out of ignorance, not analysing the full situation. It's painfully clear that producers also deserve some rights and these waiting periods are ridiculous. Sure the actresses deserve and need to be protected, but it needs to be a win win for both parties. This will end either way: either the spectacular rise of illegal porn or some will adapt to the system, but I suspect some will adapt to the system by applying illegal methods trying to remain in a grey zone when it comes to the law. I thing I did notice, I checked this: lots of AVs are still being made, this isn't affecting everyone, clearly. If I had to bet money on how this will end? My money would be on: the government just made everything worse.
