  1. Here's the thing on female companionship and sex: consider it a bonus in life, under no circumstance should you make it a life goal of yours. Work to improve your own life, that 100% needs to be your primary goal in life. Do stuff that's fun, try to have a good life basically, with or without a girlfriend, either way works. That guy, I'm not fat shaming, he should lose the weight, get in shape. Not saying this to get girls, though indirectly it would attract women. Same as above, work to improve your own life, the guy is smart, why not improve his body as well? He's a comedian, he's funny, he seems confident, I'm pretty sure if he lost the weight, he would get women without even trying. Why should he lose the fat and get in shape? Purely for himself, if he gets a GF, that's a bonus. There's too many bad consequences from being this overweight. As for the virgin thing, it's not only in Japan, we're seeing spectacular numbers in the West as well. I actually started to encounter people IRL who openly would state they're virgin, those I know are actually past 30, going towards 40. It's not just a problem in Japan, brithrates are pretty terrible in the West, the only thing that saves the West is immigration, immigrants tend to have a lot more kids. Dating is hard in the West for Average guys, it's super easy for the top 20%. In Japan, from everything I know, I would say it's even harder and one of the reasons is because Japanese women have even higher expectations than in the West. This is not a good thing, men aren't happy, but women aren't happy either, it's a worldwide problem. Depression rates are sky high, never been this high. Divorces are higher than ever, if you leave out older generation, it's extremely rare that a marriage lasts, it's a pretty low %. Another contributing factor that women don't expect to matter, but it does: women, at least in the USA, are usually who demands a divorce (roughly 70% of divorces), higher educated women have an even higher % of getting divorced. The number of single moms is pretty spectacular and it keeps growning. Now, Japan itself, if you check the depression rates, they've never been this high, they're even higher amongst women, to add to that, check the suicide stats during covid, it's mostly women. Both the West and Japan need to change their dating culture or both will end up in a very bad place, Japan seems worse off in the short run.

  2. Look at history, great people are remember because of what they did, no historical figure is remembered because they banged a lot of people. It sounds cliché, but it's true guys. I'm not a virgin, I have dated, I have had gfs, they come and pass, it all didn't really matter. I got much more satisfaction from accomplishing certain life goals and making some dreams a reality. As great as sex may feel, the feeling of finally accomplishing this one dream you have for years, it's incomparable. You can't force love, but you 100% can and should improve your own life at least. Work on yourself, try to have a better life than you already have and if you aren't yet, get in shape, being healthy is needed to live confortably. Self improvement is waaay more important than love or sex.
