Comments by "Luis Romero" (@LuisRomeroLopez) on "TANZANIA: the EXAMPLE that puts AFRICA’s take-off at risk - VisualPolitik EN" video.
Judging by the comments about the video being bias, seems that populism is strong in Tanzania. 🤔

"My friend told me" sounds like not the most reliable source possible.

> I know nothing of Tanzanian politics TBH, the comment should have ended here. > foreign investors historically have rarely been a positive force in Africa Can't see how that could make sense unless Africa has a different type of mathematics (capital is capital, so is more likely to be a problem of bad distribution). I wouldnt be surprised to find out the the wealthiest countries are also the ones with more foreign invesment (most likely, Morroco, South Afrcia, Nigeria, Egypt, Ethiopia)

@ericktabaro183 But if the problem is that companies do business in "African countries by bribing politicians", then it sounds more like a problem from the local government that a problem of the companies. And if a government appears blaming companies... I'll be more skeptic of the government.

@vikitu4793 If your friend is profecionally working in polls or meassuring economic indicators in his or her country, and the random guy on internet has just throw his or her opinion; yes. But if your friend if just a random average guy with anecdotal evidence and the internet guy has a chanel dedicated to politics, with a trayectory and shows sources; then no.

@vikitu4793 If your argument depends on the slim possibility that a random person that makes a statement on the internet might have access to complete or privileged information, or being a political analyst ... I think with your arument the problem is obvious. I mean... any mention of Occam's razor even feels unnecessary.
