Comments by "Luis Romero" (@LuisRomeroLopez) on "Could the INDIAN ARMY stand up to CHINA? - VisualPolitik EN" video.
@51lkyw4y They have like 6 or a dozen videos criticizing China and even one when they state support for Hong Kong and another when they define de devolution to China as a mistake. Considering that the study you mention is ver specific in the topic (high altitude conflict), could be possible that you just didn´t like the video.

@51lkyw4y But Pakistan is not China, and the contento of the study that you mentioned was too specific. Also: Checking some facts of the video, they don't seem to be that wrong. For example: the Vikramaditya is indeed a soviet (Kiev class) modified aricraft, while there is other soviet equipment. On the opposite side, it seems that most of the criticism to the video comes from... the pronunciation of kashmir. Personally, I think that the fact about the soviet equipment is more interesting.

@51lkyw4y > The most reliable military ranking is released by the global firepower index Maybe you "forgot" to mention this... But China is THIRD in that index. Did you expected me to don't check that? (Now I feel that I might need to check the actual claims in the study you quoted 🤦) https://www.globalfirepower.com/countries-listing.php If we consider that that index is made by experts (as you called it the "most reliable"), then there you have your experts claiming that indian army needs to improve to counter China. And we all know that the CCP is becoming a problematic and India might be key in helping to contain the CCP, but certainly that containmet is not going to work if everybody pretends that there are no problems.

@51lkyw4y > To put things in perspective Chinese operate about 400 mig21 clones The ones you want to care about are the Chengdu J-20. No wonder why you don't see (or don't want to see) any problem if you don't know this. > "India, on the contrary, has about 100 and they are getting replaced with the 4+ gen fighter jets" Wait... WHAT? If India is upgrading to gen 4 fighters the situation might be worse than I thought. Don't know if you just googled that or you don't know what you're talking about, but check if you what you actually want so say is "5 gen" instead of "4 gen"? (No way the situation is that bad) > F-16 first flew in 1974 LOL! You actually think the current models are the same as the one of the 1970s?

@51lkyw4y Ah, you maent aircraft! Of course. Sorry, my bad there (I got confused by the mention of the mig latter) Thank you for your time.

@51lkyw4y > India outnumbers the Chinese on the Indian china border That's also quite specific. A conflict more likely won't be reduced just to the border, and of course, the concentration most likely will change. > Dude, what do you mean by too specific? You mentioned that was just High Altitude conflict. What's the name of the study. > Which expert calls the Indian military "paper tiger"? Wont' be surprised i we can find a few. Probably because of the soviet technolgy. Even the indian goverment must be aware of the necessities, or the video is wrong and there are not any modernization programs?

@51lkyw4y > First, it was "high altitude" then came to "too specific" then to "Ranking". Well, that's something I have to ask: You're the one who has brought all those point everytime I questioned the previous. > Where did I say that India is overall stronger than china? That's literally the point of the video and that's what you implyed with the study (A study who's name you haven't mentioned yet) > Every military in the world has problems including the strongest USA Yes, but the US army in a constant process of innovation, and is already number one and does not rely too much on soviet equipment. (Another thing that you do not appear to take into account) > recently the USA air force has admitted that its f35 has failed to meet the desired result. Exactly what result was that and when and why that claim was made?

@51lkyw4y And who say ti will escalte to nuclear? Just asked for the study and if you took into account the soviet material? (Because a problem with China is that they're modernizing their equipment) I thought that the bases in Nicobar and Andamn are still not fully build, while that's the very reason the chinese invested in the port in Sri Lanka and other one in Pakistan. Going back to the index, I think the problem should be adressed instead of trying to claim that there's not one.

@51lkyw4y > "The USA is looking at 4.5th generation" Not even the first sentence... Not even the first... Are you sure you didn't mean "5.5 gen" instead of "4.5 gen" ? (Is that, or you're literally looking at info like from the 1960s 😆) Especially since the 6th gen prototypes tests started last year: https://www.defensenews.com/breaking-news/2020/09/15/the-us-air-force-has-built-and-flown-a-mysterious-full-scale-prototype-of-its-future-fighter-jet/

@Yuvraj Patil Funny thing is that when Simon hosted the video about the rise in nationalism and Hinduthva with Modi, indian nationalist also cried "poorly researched" and "world conspiracy sponsored this" in the comments.
1
@myselfyuvi But I didn't questioned that or shown any concern if you want to unsuscribed based on the belief that a specific video es "poorly researched".

@jorlm2364 LOL! Maybe you need to redefine your "foreign threat" conspiracy. The only brits are only the host. They didn't did the script. 😆
