  2.  @KYLESCABIN  , I thought Skeeter was extra special, now I know why. I had a English Springer Spaniel when I was a kid....I'm 61 now so it was a long time ago. She was so gentle and loving and kept me safe. I had a habit of wanting to be in the woods exploring all day. My Mom had a whistle she would blow when it was lunch time or dinnertime. My dog, "Lady" would hear that whistle and know how to get back home. If I was climbing over rocks or trying to cross a creek she'd stop and wait for me to catch up. She always got me home. Then she got her treat. My Mom never really worried about me, a daughter exploring because Lady was always close by. 🐕🐕🐕🐕❤
