@Nutt-u I've just realised that Tories are so tribal, that when the tory party fail, they then presume the entirety of British politics has failed; it's how they can say: "they're all the same", because they're idiotic enough to believe it. Anyone aged 40+ can remember the Blair/Brown years being infinitely better in terms of public services. Two-day lead time for GP's. Far shorter NHS waiting lists. Better social care. More affordable housing. Etcetera

@MaybeLater82 I care about aggregate living standards, not 'ologies or 'isms mate. Having said that, most people who espouse capitalism are too dense to realise that private investment only goes where there is appreciable public sector support. The public sector (socialism) is the bedrock of every mixed economy.
