  1. I can't help but wonder if an economic system that cannot provide for the people within it, and cannot even sustain its own existence, should be rebuilt at all. There are better alternatives, maybe we should try them instead of slaughtering human beings for profit?

  5.  @Northern85Star  Climate change is a choice, pollution is a choice, mass extinctions are a choice. We can stop all of those things with 8 billion people, or 10 billion, or 15 billion. We can stop those things tomorrow. And because they are choices, that means even if we reduce the population to 5 billion...those things still happen. Climate change will kill us all no matter what the population is, because it is a choice.
