  1. I just realized one of my issues. I have imposter syndrome, I grew up overweight and bullied, so embodying a fit confident man still feels weird at times. Like part of me is stuck in the past. But whenever I have a good streak of forgetting my old life entirely. Especially with all the chemobrain, alcohol, psychedelics & meditation, I haven't FULLY finished wiping my harddrives, so when I read comments about guys simping, part of me just automatically reads a file in my head filled with shameful & regretful memories, as if the very fact I use to be like them means I'm still like them deep down, despite being the furthest thing possible. It feels weird sometimes.... Wasted my teens & twenties on bad advice.

  2. I can vouch for the broken heart requirement. If you have to recreate yourself, the ONLY way is to break yourself down to pieces, then rebuild. Rebuilding is impossible until who you were previously gets completely shattered. It's just a question of not breaking so much you lose yourself in the dust, there has to be viable pieces to salvage in order to construct a new entity.
