I don't think "Made in China" says much about quality. There are of course better and worse products, but what I do have complaints about when it comes to products made in China is the wide range of quality. It makes me wonder whether they do enough quality checks or not. I won't avoid a product just because it's made in China though. Then regarding what Trump wants to do, I think it's perfectly reasonable, and is one of the better things he has done. The problem with outsourcing to China is that living standards are improving, and salaries will also increase. Because of this, it'll eventually not be cheaper to outsource. As things are right now, it's usually cheaper to outsource, so companies would rather to do that. This is one of the things that Trump (and politicians all over the world) is trying to change. They want companies to produce within the country and still be able to stay competitive.
