He tells you the only thing you need to believe in is yourself. You may choose a sect. The Satanic Temple is a political movement. The Church of Satan founded by LaVey carries his philosophy. There are many other secondary sects to choose. The Sect of the Horned God, Satanic International Network. Or you may not go with anyone. Satanism is the path of the self. You only need yourself. The Satanic Temple is a splinter sect from that organization. They are focused on politics, especially the separation of church and state in America. There are many other sects, so take your time to choose. You might not find them right away. However, it is written in LaVey's Satanic Bible that it is not necessary to join any group. Satanism is an individualistic philosophy.

  10. I'm there because the philosophy, the path of Satanism saved my life. The "most evil man in the world" gave me more than enough reasons to live from beyond his grave. Satan is your enemy indeed. It had been said blatantly that he is the Adversary. He is the enemy of dogmatic thought and herd mentality, of which I do not partake. I have learned somewhat of the forbidden tool of ritual. But not of reading the future. Satanists make their future. Be careful, the end you believe in may not be as it seems. Live this life. If you believe there is a God out there somewhere that started the universe or is the universe or maybe just went away, then you're an Agnostic. If you hold no belief in a deity, you're an Atheist. The way I figured out what I was, I sat on my bed and thought for while. Glancing at religions and philosophies and what their beliefs entailed and whether or not I agreed with their interpretation of life and the universe. What I can tell you is that don't let anybody take advantage of you and dictate what is true. Search for something that holds the same belief of what you think life is all about and how you want to live it.

God sends us to hell where we will burn and be tortured for eternity even though he "loves us". They also make the argument that we put our own selves in hell but even so, if he loves us and sees us as his children why does he still not rescue us? It's all just hot garbage and nothing adds up. The cross has been crumbling for decades, it's only the rebar that keeps it standing being the indoctrination.
