  1. What action did the government take to reduce inflation? Did I miss something, as I thought the action was taken by the Bank of England? Perhaps if this government stooge stopped banging on the lectern he would sound less desperate. As for investment in green solutions: they would help growth by creating jobs and reducing energy bills from better insulation. A little inconvenient to the profits of dirty energy companies and Tory mates, perhaps, but nevertheless an enabler of growth. The Tory formula of low taxes = growth is bullsh1t, as history shows. The periods of highest growth have coincided with high taxation. Perhaps someone will ask these clowns to explain their "plan" as it is resulting in the country falling apart.
