Tory Britain is not only broken, it is being dismantled piece by piece. Excused and enabled by the Tory media. All credit to Mick.

@@alexander-lc4dr Were you not better off under Labour? Let's start your whataboutery from a position of reality.

@@alexander-lc4dr So you haven't answered the question. Were you better or worse off?

@Steve-ho4xb The Lol is significant. Were you better or worse off under Labour? Simple binary question.

@markscott4420 indeed. The Tories have borrowed more and paid back less than Labour, consistently since the second world war and through to just before the pandemic. Their economic record is abysmal.

@barrymcguinness2087 I couldn't agree more, Barry. I'm also a grandparent and despair for the future of our grandchildren. We need a serious reset with a real democratic system instead of this elective dictatorship.

@julielevinge266 ???

@@alexander-lc4dr The only way of fixing this country is 1) reform the electoral system and make parliament fit for purpose to achieve real democracy. 2) economic and structural reform, with a reset to stop financialisation and use collective talents while facing reality. We are not a world power and need to cooperate with our nearest neighbours. Will it happen? I doubt it unless we see a miracle.

@julielevinge266 ????

@sidlittle8658 History says yes. But will they alone have the solutions? NO

@IrishLadASMR relevance?

@paulking1396 that's some assumption, obviously based on strenuous academic research. It's also know as whataboutery. In simple language that even a Tory apologist might understand: please stop talking bollocks.
1
@suminshizzles6951 That's debatable, as they are not yet in power. But is it an excuse to vote Tory? Look at both of their records and decide. Facts speak accurately; rhetoric doesn't.
1
@mosheridan7016 Exactly how, based in their record?
1
@mosheridan7016 You evade answering a simple question like a Tory bot. Please explain.
1
@mosheridan7016 What kind of lazy answer is that? It's known as trolling.
1
@mosheridan7016 a non-answer is awareness?
1
@mosheridan7016 I see standing up for workers' rights as positive, being more concerned about a crony government compensating the rail companies for the strikes and failing to accept that privatisation is not working.
1
@mosheridan7016 Now that's a pertinent question with this government in power. They want the bar set to zero.

@PamelaD963 are Labour in office? Did I miss something?
