" So's debate suddenly that's become smash people over the head with an iron rod until they give up (metaphorically speaking, or in some cases literally with some, though not always with an iron rod that's kind of just a figure of speech).

From a business standpoint if you want them to do something about something and you keep swearing they're far more likely either to ban you from calling them (rarely happens) or they'll just ignore you is probably the most likely thing they'll do (if they had any common sense that is lol). Trust me I know that is true in every sense of the way/word!
