"Another drop-back is this that you can refuse for a treatment but you can't ask for specific treatment" what a load of bull, it clearly states in the NHS constitution if deemed appropriate you can, even ask to be seen by a consultant again if its deemed appropriate (like someone who specialises in an appropriate field). What you clearly are oblivious to is the term "free at the point of delivery" what that means is the person receiving whatever treatment doesn't have to pay for it, there's many times when people do have to pay for NHS treatment even residents of the UK who've lived abroad for whatever amount of time sometimes have to pay for treatment, in pre-op assessments is why we always get asked if we've lived abroad. Least have a clue!
