@lesleyvivien2876 I dunno though how Lady C's reputation is (rather isnt that good if you look from the media perspective) married essentially a former Duke of Argyll is like Scotlands equivalent of the Duchy of Devonshire the elite of the aristocracy (what an ancestor of Lady Di Georgiana Cavendish née Spencer, who quite essentially was (what The Duchess movie/film doesnt show) is she was somewhat of a compulsive gambler of which William Cavendish had numerous times bailed her out of her crippling gambling debts May find this an interesting watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ43fPjxg-c

@falynch Also with the fact their claims they werent protected, cant remember what it was but Lady C stating they were actually from the media publishing certain things, the other things the other royals get the same flack for I mean Zara Tindall (née Philips, Princess Anne's daughter and the Monarchs eldest Granddaughter) getting some bs flack for showing some apparently risque clothing just for showing the back of a bra pmsl they're laughable. Is like one of Prince Philips gaffes when think was visiting somewhere in the Caribbean he said "you have mosquitos I have the press" haha 😂

@lesleyvivien2876 I could go on about many things somethings are rather (well I'd say a lot of things are rather complicated actually lol) complex then others could be quite simple. One of the things that baffles me is why I dont really know if at all if its the case of where Harry thinks that because of them holding the title of Sussex would be given to anyone else as that does not happen until the title is I dont know the formal word for it for a Monarch its abdication but rescinded is probably a better word but I dont know if thats really what its called, stripped of it rather or when the title holder dies (not sure of the rather complexity of the title holder dying who it was given to when their spouse still is around like in the case of Lady C but rather she divorced I think before the title holder died anyway... According to her Archie would have been given the title Dumbarton but would only been given to him once he'd marry I mean I dont know about styles though what sort of predates, as to get a title have to be married before then is always a style. Though now entirely its only the royal family who are given hereditary titles, used to not be the case has existed largely since the Norman Conquest (except the Lonsdales or their title which predates the the conquest) when William the Conquorer defeated Harold Goodwinson the final/last (his predecessor was he childless (issueless I suppose formally) Edward The Confessor, who the coronation crowns named after St Edward) Ango-Saxon Monarch who was relative friends with William the Conqueror, promised him to succeed him but for whatever reason never happened which caused a fall out and yeah Hardold Goodwinson was later defeated. Following the Norman Conquest (why the vast marjority of the Scottish Nobility were originally French) is why particularly Clan Bruce (Bruis or Brus in French) moved from Normandy to firstly Yorkshire then a sept of them (Annandale or rather the Clan Chief became the Earl of Annandale, there's never been a title named Bruce has always like even now been the heir to the now Elgin title, the heir now being Lord Bruce)
