While it is embarrassing to hear some of the representatives speak about the topic, there is one thing they get tiktok collects private data and is a danger to society and that privacy of personal data is not maintained. What is even more embarrassing are the people in our country who didnt care about their privacy, that they didnt have anything to hide or they used the excuse of TOS when it came to their data privacy, It led directly to this moment........that's what is embarrassing

  4. not really.......had you watched the congressional hearing, they state all the countries who have already banned tiktok already. There are two others apps that took over when they were banned from the countries.......youtube and Instagram.

Another part off it was about CCP spying and manipulation. the US isnt the only country with the same tiktok problems, they've been banned in many countries, no one needs an app degree to understand that.

  11. and while you are so concerned with your pathetic grievance, congress has created at least 5 new draft bills to increase surveillance of US citizens since this hearing took place, and not one bill to protect US citizens data or privacy. You WILL get your police state and social credit system with great ease because youy cant get past the grilling of a CEO who's company is directed by the CCP Politburo.
